Atlas Ocean Voyages had two celebratory naming ceremonies this weekend for its new ships the World Traveller and the World Navigator.<\/p>\n
According to a press launch, the twin naming ceremonies happened within the fjords alongside the Beagle Channel\u2019s Glacier Alley.<\/p>\n
The World Navigator had entered service in August 2021 however the formal naming ceremony didn\u2019t occur as a consequence of COVID restrictions.<\/p>\n
\u201cBoth yacht-style vessels specialize in expeditions to some of nature\u2019s most spectacular destinations,\u201d stated James Rodriguez, Atlas\u2019 president and CEO. \u201cWhat a historic weekend for Atlas! It was inspiring to name these two spectacular ships surrounded by majestic glaciers.\u201d<\/p>\n
The World Traveller was named on November 19 adopted by Zodiac sightseeing of Pia Glacier. The naming festivities for the World Navigator happened on November 20 adopted by a luncheon on the ship.<\/p>\n
The VIP visitor listing included shareholders, journey advisors, media and dignitaries from Argentina and Chile.<\/p>\n
The World Traveller is presently on its 13-night Ushuaia Roundtrip Cruise with visits to the Drake Passage, Antarctica, Antarctic Peninsula, and Cape Horn, Chile, Antarctica.<\/p>\n
The World Navigator is on a 12-night cruise from Valparaiso-Santiago to Ushuaia and can cease at Chiloe Island, Castro, Chile, Chilean Fjords, Patagonia, Punta Arenas, Chile, Antarctica, and the Beagle Channel, Glacier Alley, Chile Patagonia.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
