They are additionally the house of the Trans Mountain Pipeline. Such industrial development from European settlers has traditionally devastated the land and, extra importantly, the water.<\/p>\n<p>To change into \u201cprotectors of the water,\u201d the Tsleil-Waututh Nation created the<strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twnsacredtrust.ca\/\" rel=\"noopener\"> Sacred Trust Initiative<\/a> <\/strong>to struggle towards the pipeline\u2019s
