The Grand Canyon National Park is known throughout the globe and probably the most acknowledged of the Arizona National Parks<\/strong>. The north rim is closed within the wintertime<\/strong> however the south rim is open yr spherical<\/strong>. Our opinion:\u00a0The Grand Canyon \u2013 There\u2019s no higher place to get edgy<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

We have seen the Grand Canyon from nearly each angle<\/strong> (for years my husband and I have been pilots flying sightseeing excursions of the south rim of the Grand Canyon.)<\/p>\n

Our current RV journey<\/strong> took us to the north rim the place we camped on the North Rim Campground<\/a><\/strong> having fun with cool summer time temperatures<\/strong>. This location has phenomenal views, nice climbing trails<\/strong> and was solely a quick stroll to the Grand Canyon Lodge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 1979 the Grand Canyon<\/strong> was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong> (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization designation for having cultural, historic, scientific or different significance.) It can also be one of many Seven Natural Wonders of the World<\/strong>. But, it\u2019s nearly like two completely different locations<\/strong>. The canyon splits the park<\/strong> in two sections. The north rim<\/strong> (roughly 7,000 toes above sea degree) sits about 1,000 toes increased<\/strong> than the south rim<\/strong> (roughly 8,000 toes above sea degree) producing completely completely different flora, fauna<\/strong> and climate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
