A landowner in northeast Kansas contacted authorities final week after discovering a number of lifeless deer that exhibited wounds from a small-bore rifle.<\/p>\n

Wildlife officers for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) are working to find out who shot seven deer discovered lifeless not too long ago in Washington County, Kan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The division\u2019s sport wardens reported the information through a Jan. 9 Facebook submit. According to the submit, a landowner initially discovered 5 whitetail deer lifeless in crop fields on Jan. 4, \u201cshot with a small caliber rifle and left to lay.\u201d<\/p>\n

The landowner reported the invention, then sport wardens discovered two extra deer throughout their investigation. Wardens mentioned the deer have been killed outdoors the city of Hanover<\/a><\/strong>. One of the carcasses was positioned lower than 250 yards from two separate residences, the submit mentioned.<\/p>\n
