Toledo is without doubt one of the most fascinating cities in Spain, with a singular mix of Spanish, Muslim, and Jewish tradition. The historic medieval metropolis heart has been preserved and acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once the capital of Spain, the town is perched on a hill surrounded on three sides by the Tagus River. With this wealthy historical past and tradition, it received\u2019t shock you that many guests take a Madrid to Toledo day journey. <\/p>\n

During our two weeks in Spain, we spent 5 days in Madrid<\/a>, giving us sufficient time to take a day journey to Toledo.
