Cunard unveiled a brand new <\/span>archive exhibition on the University of Liverpool\u2019s Victoria Gallery & Museum on March 23, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n According to a press launch, Cunard\u2019s \u201c<\/span>Travel in Style \u2013 Iconic Cunard Advertising in the 1920s and 1930s\u201d exhibition was specifically curated to show the cruise line\u2019s seafaring heritage. Queen Anne is the next in a fine line for Cunard and she will be bursting with breath-taking moments around every corner; all of which contain subtle references to our history.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The exhibition opens to the general public on March 25 and can be on show in Gallery 5 on the museum. <\/span><\/p>\n The wider Cunard archives will be discovered on the University of Liverpool library with many information courting from the early a part of the 1900s.<\/span><\/p>\n Si\u00e2n Wilks, archivist (Cunard) on the University of Liverpool Library, stated: \u201cThe Cunard archive contains most of the surviving business records produced by Cunard since it became a limited company in 1878. As a unique resource, the archive provides rich insight into the Company\u2019s history and the social history of thousands of people whose lives Cunard impacted, including members of its crew, office staff and passengers.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe exhibition will give visitors to Liverpool the opportunity to view a selection of original Cunard travel posters that are not normally accessible due to their large size and preservation requirements.
