Silversea Cruises and MEYER WERF celebrated the keel laying of Silver Ray on March 23, internet hosting choose Travel Advisors for a symbolic ceremony on the shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Barbara Muckermann, Silversea\u2019s President and CEO, and Jan Meyer, Managing Director of MEYER WERFT, had been among the many attendees as a commemorative coin, bearing Silver Ray\u2019s silhouette, was positioned beneath a pre-assembled module\u2014weighing 230 tonnes, and measuring roughly 47m by 8m (155ft by 27ft)\u2014as a logo of excellent luck. Attendees subsequently raised a glass to rejoice the essential milestone.<\/p>\n
