From the hatchery, it\u2019s 22 miles to Clear Lake Resort<\/strong><\/a> with a lodge, cabins, restaurant, and normal retailer. Formed when a close-by volcano erupted 3,000 years in the past, Clear Lake<\/strong><\/a> shimmers turquoise blue with a few of the clearest and coldest water of any Cascade Range lake. Canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and non-motorized boats are allowed, whereas anglers fish for brook, cutthroat, and rainbow trout. The Clear Lake Loop Trail encircles the lake and connects to the 26-mile McKenzie River National Recreation Trail<\/strong><\/a>, each favorites of bikers, hikers and backpackers.<\/p>\n From Clear Lake, it\u2019s a brief two miles south on Highway 126 to the parking space for 2 extra of the realm\u2019s spectacular water options, Sahalie Falls<\/strong><\/a> and Koosah Falls<\/strong><\/a>. When the volcano erupted, lava created a dam that fashioned Clear Lake.
