In October 2024, I had the prospect to take part in a 15-day rural entrepreneurship program that reawakened my entrepreneurial spirit and deepened my love for rural Galicia. The program, known as Fixar, took me to <\/span>Anceu Coliving<\/b>, a singular coliving house tucked into the center of the Galician countryside close to Pontevedra.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was about connection: to others, to nature, and to the entrepreneurial spark that had been quietly ready to reignite after two years spent principally at residence, balancing work and motherhood.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Is Fixar?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Fixar<\/a> is a groundbreaking rural entrepreneurship initiative, <\/span>the primary of its form in Galicia<\/b>, supported by Galicia\u2019s authorities and funded by means of the European Union. With a finances of \u20ac123,800, its mission is to revitalize rural Galicia by fostering innovation and sustainable group improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program happened from July to October 2024, welcoming 60 individuals from various backgrounds. Why I Joined Fixar<\/b><\/h3>\n

It had been some time since I participated in something remotely like this. Life had shifted dramatically over the previous few years. After giving delivery to my daughter, my days revolved round her, and my entrepreneurial initiatives took a backseat. I craved inspiration, connection, and an area the place I may dream huge once more. Fixar arrived on the good time, simply over an hour from my residence in rural Galicia however providing a much-needed reset.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together with their crew\u2014<\/span>Se<\/b>, a theater-loving multitasker; <\/span>Rosa<\/b>, who saved the house operating easily; and their canines <\/span>Pandora<\/b>, <\/span>Pepe<\/b>, and <\/span>Li\u00f1o<\/b>\u2014they\u2019ve created an area that\u2019s as welcoming as it’s inspiring.<\/span><\/p>\n

The group right here is simply as exceptional. Ana<\/strong>, a sophisticated soul now settled close by, runs a cellular bookstore that brings tales to life on the go. Victor<\/strong>, aka Rural Champs, affords boxing lessons to locals and guests alike, fostering each health and connection. Nacho<\/strong>, a part of Rural Hackers<\/a> alongside Africa and Agus\u2014an affiliation combining artwork, know-how, and social influence linked to the ECNH\u2014is planning to maneuver to the area along with his associate. He performs an energetic function within the rural Galician entrepreneurship scene, contributing contemporary concepts and vitality.<\/p>\n

Together with non permanent residents and new arrivals, these inspiring people added depth and vibrancy to Anceu, making it a very dynamic surroundings.<\/p>\n
