In 2024, Icelandic journey firm The North will debut Arctic Horizons, a three-week voyage that may cease at six completely different locations within the Arctic.
“For this carefully curated itinerary, we hand-selected the destinations that have most inspired us during our many journeys into the high latitudes and the Arctic,” says Jón Olafur Magnussen, The North’s co-founder, in an interview with Travel + Leisure. Magnussen, an avid Arctic adventurer, based the enterprise along with his spouse, Johanna Eyjolfsdottir; the couple additionally operates the journey firm HL Adventure.
The journey begins and ends in Reykjavik, Iceland, and contains stops in Ilulissat, Greenland, Sonora, Canada, Anchorage, Alaska, Longyearbyen, Svalbard, and Alta, Norway. Guests will spend a number of days in luxurious accommodations at every cease, experiencing the highlights of the situation.

Magnussen plans to broaden The North’s choices to incorporate locations all through northern Asia, together with Mongolia, in addition to routes on smaller personal jets with smaller teams to locations that may not be accessible on a bigger jet.
