Nogales, AZ to San Francisco, CA
In the late 1700s, Juan Bautista de Anza led over 240 folks on a 1,200 mile journey from Nogales, Arizona to the San Francisco Bay space in California to set up a settlement there. Experience historic websites and recreation climbing trails alongside the Anza Historic Trail.

30. Old Spanish National Historic Trail
AZ, CA, CO, NV, NM, UT
The Old Spanish National Historic Trail crosses six states from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Los Angeles, California. This is the trail New Mexican merchants traveled to maneuver their merchandise to commerce for mules and horses. The AZ part of the path runs alongside the northern border of the state and has a number of completely different websites to go to in Arizona.
