IIXI (aka Eleven By One) is just not your grandfather’s snowboarding film. Filmmaker Morgan Maassen collaborated with KORUA Shapes to create a collection of 11 one-minute-long black-and-white vignettes that mystify and enjoyment of equal measure.

You may know Maassen from his dreamy surf and ocean images. But IIXI proves the filmmaker has main chops on the mountainside as properly.

So sit back and chill out; you’re about to embark on a memorable monochrome escapade the likes of which you’ve by no means skilled.
