Go toBritain’s GREAT Gateway Innovation Fund has allotted grants to profitable candidates to help advertising and marketing for inbound gateways to Britain.
Newcastle Gateshead Initiative, London & Partners, and Brittany Ferries have secured funding from the pilot program.
Go toBritain CEO Patricia Yates mentioned: “This Fund encourages local destinations to forge partnerships within the industry and boosts their marketing activity, showcasing the very best of their region. It also encourages visitors to broaden their travel itineraries, boosting inbound visits across more of the year and across more of Britain, supporting local businesses, destinations, and economies.”
NewcastleGateshead Initiative working with Wego will goal guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) international locations, whereas Brittany Ferries and Destination Plymouth together with different South Coast Destination Management Organisations (DMOs) will deal with the French market. London & Partners teaming up with Expedia Group Media Solutions and VisitScotland, will goal US travellers.
The Fund encourages collaboration between native locations and business within the promotion of gateway locations or areas to develop worldwide shopper advertising and marketing campaigns that showcase the easiest of a area, motivating journey in 2023.
