Resorts World Cruises introduced that it’s going to add Kaohsiung as a brand new vacation spot and homeport for Taiwanese passengers as Taiwan lifted all journey restrictions on Hong Kong based on a press launch.
The Resorts World One will start its excessive seas cruises from Hong Kong, beginning March 10, 2023.
From April 2, 2023, the Resorts World One will sail from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung providing cruises starting from three to 4 nights, departing on Sundays and two-and-three-day cruises departing on Wednesdays.
“Resorts World Cruises pioneered the dual homeport ship model for Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (via Port Klang) with the Genting Dream, bringing increased tourists and economic benefits to both destinations,” stated Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, govt chairman of Resorts World Cruises.
“Similarly, Hong Kong and Kaohsiung will both benefit from an increased number of passengers carried by Resorts World One and increased Fly-Cruise and Rail-Cruise passengers, who will have pre and post-cruise stays in either destination,” he added.
Additionally, vacationers departing from Hong Kong on Sundays may have the choice to debark at Kaohsiung on Mondays for a 3 or four-day keep in Taiwan and embark once more on Thursdays to reach in Hong Kong on Friday.
Prices for cruises from Hong Kong to Kaohsiung begin from HK$1,299 onwards per visitor (twin-sharing) with third and fourth visitors paying HK$650 per cruise.
