Star Seeker Reveal: First Look at Public Room Designs

So far, we’ve watched as Windstar’s Star Seeker, its first-ever newbuild, has gone via main phases of the development course of, gotten its ceremonial float-out, and obtained its designated members of its senior management crew.

Attention now turns to refining its interiors, which is all about seeing the ship turn out to be an actual cruise vessel. Today, Windstar has revealed renderings, that are digital photographs that present how rooms just like the Yacht Club, Main Lounge and Amphora will look – when they’re accomplished.

The total impact?

“We are designing Star Seeker to reflect a balance of intimacy and openness,” says Jessica Payne, senior supervisor, inside design. “With floor-to-ceiling home windows in every single place, friends are at all times linked to the ocean, and the entire ship transforms because the solar rises and units.

“We really took inspiration from the always changing light and colors of the ocean, and that’s reflected in how the spaces evolve throughout the day—just like the sea itself. Every space is designed to be multi-purpose, shifting naturally from morning to night to create different moods and experiences.”

Let’s have a look.

The Yacht Club Cafe

“We want the Yacht Club Café to feel serene, with a relaxing area to sit and revive with friends over coffee or drinks,” Payne tells us. “It’s cozy yet contemporary, with blues, whites, and bright accents keeping it fresh and inviting.”

Main Lounge

The Lounge: Lively and modern, the Lounge is Star Seeker’s go-to spot for refined leisure. Deep emerald greens add vibrancy and life, making it really feel subtle and modern.

Amphora

A refined but eclectic tackle luxurious that’s impressed by gems and the waves of the ocean. We used wealthy supplies, softened traces, and a romantic setting that shifts with the pure gentle—so breakfast, lunch, and dinner all really feel like distinctive experiences.

Stay tuned for particulars and renderings on different elements of Star Seeker, together with pool deck, suites and different public venues.

Editor’s Note: Star Seeker will enter service in December of 2025, crusing from Málaga, Spain, to Miami, the place Windstar is headquartered and the place the ship’s christening ceremony will happen in January of 2026. Star Seeker will then sail its first voyage within the Caribbean and supply extra cruises within the area earlier than heading up the West Coast of the United States to Alaska for a full season of summer time cruises. From there, the ship will sail to Asia, bringing again the road’s widespread Around Japan itineraries.

It may also develop its Asia sailings to incorporate Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia in 2026 and 2027.

The 224-guest Star Seeker can have 5 eating choices, together with Amphora and Star Grill (each with alfresco seating), a brand new (no payment) different restaurant, and room service. There might be a full-service spa, health facility, infinity pool and Windstar’s signature watersports platform. Its hull might be ice-strengthened, which supplies the vessel extra flexibility by way of itinerary improvement. With a watch towards minimizing its environmental footprint and emphasizing Windstar’s dedication to sustainability, Star Seeker will function with Tier III NOx-rated Rolls Royce engines and has the power to connect with shore energy, minimizing port emissions. Other technological enhancements embrace a complicated wastewater therapy system.

Star Explorer, its sister ship, will debut a yr later in December 2026.
