Heath and I depart in two days for France to spend somewhat over a month RVing throughout western Europe.
When Heath and I first began RVing, we needed to make use of the RV as a option to encourage us to reside a life that pushed us nearer to our goals.
For me, that dream was writing books.
For Heath, that meant video—beginning with our documentary journey to all fifty states.
Over the years, we toyed with private movies on Youtube, getting severe once we filmed 30 movies about RVing throughout New Zealand. We cherished it (and had a number of folks share they did too) however then we received busy with work and beginning our household.
We even filmed 15 movies of RVing throughout Italy in 2019 with our toddler daughter and launched solely seven of them!
Well, three years later, we’re lastly, FINALLY releasing these misplaced movies.
Heath and I labored collectively to edit as many movies as potential earlier than we depart for France this week, so we are able to wrap up our Italy chapter and begin contemporary filming our subsequent worldwide RVing video collection.
(I PROMISE it received’t take us three years to launch the movies we movie in France!)
There are EIGHT new movies, however listed below are a few of our private favorites:
For years, I’ve had a activity on my Trello board:
It was all the time a query mark on the again burner and as time wore on it, it turned more and more pointless to spend time enhancing them.
After all in relation to Youtube, when you don’t publish usually, you’re irrelevant. And the world has utterly modified since we filmed these!
But the duty quietly loomed over me.
Then, lower than two weeks in the past, Heath and I made a decision that we should always knock out enhancing these movies and pave the best way for us to make extra movies internationally RVing.
The distinction this time? We have been in it collectively. Of all our Youtube movies, Heath edited considered one of them. (That would imply I edited the opposite 100.)
This time, we break up the movies in half and every edited 4 movies in a few week and a half (with out childcare—however that’s a distinct story).
Working collectively, we knocked out this gargantuan activity and it felt so good to tug that activity on my Trello board over to the DONE! column.
It could have taken three years of specializing in different issues, watching two infants discover ways to stroll, shopping for a campground, returning to Italy, and customarily ignoring Youtube till we might RV internationally once more…
But they’re accomplished and I’m so glad we now have these movies printed, if for no different motive than to ooh and aah over child Ellie 🥰
Here’s to crossing issues off the to-do checklist (who cares if it takes three years)!
